TEAM
DAVID HILL
Pastor Hill, a Texas Southern University graduate in public affairs and criminal justice, began his journey as a juvenile probation officer while simultaneously serving as a youth pastor in Houston's third ward. After marrying his college sweetheart, Melissa, in 1997, they embarked on a five-year mission trip, ministering in inner-city communities across the United States. Upon their return to Houston in 2004, David remained active as an elder and associate minister in their local third ward church. In 2010, driven by a passion for spreading the gospel in low-income urban areas, David and a team of neighbors founded Restoration Community Church in the OST/South Union neighborhood of Greater third ward. David and Melissa continue to reside in their community, raising their four children and serving their neighborhood.
JARON JONES
Pastor Jaron left behind a promising corporate engineering career to embark upon this amazing pursuit back in 2011. During that year, He & his wife Eboni felt a strong sense that God was calling them to lead and disciple imperfect people to become His living, breathing answers to issues in our community. They believed that putting their lives and careers on the altar, in order to carry out God’s mission, was worth the sacrifice. Pastor Jaron graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary-Houston (ThM) in 2016 and completed a church-planting residency at Crossover Bible Fellowship Church prior to launching Shine Bible Fellowship in October of 2016. The mission to daily pursue Christ, to daily transform our world has been guiding the church since day one.
ANDRE RIGGS
André Riggs, originally from Houston, Texas, but raised on the southeast and east coast, initially struggled to accept his calling to pastoral ministry, praying for years that God would release him from it. However, through various life experiences, André realized God's unwavering plan for him in pastoral ministry, church planting, and missions, leading him to make two pivotal decisions: to learn how to successfully plant a church and serve as a local church pastor. Married to his wife of 20 years, Nadia, and blessed with two children, Zion and Talith, André and Nadia are deeply grateful for the opportunity to shepherd God's flock. In the summer of 2020, they completed the HCPN residency and, together with a dedicated team, planted Faith Capital Church, with plans to launch regular Sunday services in October 2023.
LAWERENCE SCOTT
Dr. Lawrence Scott is the planting and Lead Pastor of One Church @ Harvest Point. He has extensive ministry experience, having held various positions in the local church. Apart from leading One Church @ Harvest Point, Pastor Scott is also a Church Consultant and trainer. Additionally, he is the Alumni Director for the Greater Houston area in the Alumni Relations department at Dallas Theological Seminary.
BRYANT LEE
Bryant Lee was born and raised in St. Louis MO. He has a passion to teach and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with clarity. A natural leader and a strong emphasis on discipling men. He is the founding and Senior Pastor of Higher Expectations Church in Humble, Texas. He is a well decorated soldier having served well both in combat and in times of peace prior to his retirement from the U.S. Army after 23 years of service. Bryant holds a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies from Grantham University and a Master’s of Theology from Liberty University.
